We were extremely grateful to have been chosen to cover the DIL Gala for another year. Last year was a tough act to top, but somehow President of the DIL Walk Foundation Raman Kapoor outdid herself with one of best gala events Calgary has ever seen and hosted by the Hyatt Regency in downtown Calgary.
Raman and her husband Dr. Anmol Kapoor promotes a yearly charity DIL gala event bringing hundreds of supporters every year from around Calgary and the rest of Canada and raising donations to fight and bring awareness to heart disease.
This gala is one of the most prestigious and anticipated events in Calgary every year, and many guest speakers provide wonderful stories and inspiration. 2019 had many including Premier Jason Kenney, Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi.
This year's also also had an amazing assortment of dance shows and comedy acts. Gala attendees were spoiled this year, and donators outdid themselves as well, with a top year for donations to fight heart disease. I must say all the amazing dancing acts had me capturing my camera and get as many action shots as I could!
